October 2024: Our paper on how peer instructional skills can improve student outcomes will be presented at FIE ’24.

September 2024: NSF identified CAHSI as one of the Broadening Participating in Computing (BPC) Alliances to receive funding.

Aug 2024: Research with OSU on teaching inclusive design so that students will use it was presented at ICER ’24.

May 2024: Research on new student orientation as a high-impact practice for student belonging and CS identity was presented at RESPECT ’24.

May 2024: Research with the OSU team on The Matchmaker Inclusive Design Curriculum was presented at SIGCHI ’24.

March 2024: Our paper “From Workshops to Classrooms: Faculty Experiences with Implementing Inclusive Design Principles” was presented at SIGCSE’24.

October 2023: Our research on expanding graduate study and improving undergraduate research mentoring was presented at IEEE Frontiers in Education (FIE ’23).

June 2023: Our paper “Regular CS x Inclusive Design = Smarter Students and Greater Diversity” is available in ACM Transactions on Computing Education.

March 2023: Our paper on Increasing School Counselor Awareness of CS was presented at SIGCSE’23. 

February 2023: Honored to receive the NCWIT Academic Alliance Joanne Cohoon Service Award.

January 2023: Funding from the Sloan Foundation will expand work with the CAHSI Alliance.
